If ever there were an event to look your best, this would be it. The Elmwood Village Association is hosting Mass Appeal this Friday night at the Lafayette Presbyterian Church on Elmwood Avenue. Buffalo’s most fashionable individuals will be in attendance for this showcase of local talent.

It’s no secret that the Elmwood area is the place to be when it comes to budding fashionistas and trendy dudes. Erin Habes, the event’s producer, saw this as the perfect spot for Buffalo designers and Elmwood Village retailers to show us what they’ve got.

General admission tickets for show are $30 and can be purchased at all area Wegmans locations or online through the Elmwood Village Association’s website. These tickets include admittance to a cash bar prior to the show and entrance to the Mass Appeal after-party located in the second level of the church. These tickets are for first come, first served seating, so it’s probably a good idea to get there early. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8:30 p.m.

For those looking for more of a Carrie Bradshaw experience, check out the VIP tickets that are being offered. These will run you $125 and can only be purchased online or by calling the Elmwood Village Association’s office. Some perks with the VIP tickets include access to the exclusive VIP lounge, runway seating, goodie bag and the gifting room.

Local model, Nora Bayly will be modeling in the show for the first time. “Everybody is talking about it and knows about it. Plus, the community is really excited.” Bayly, who also modeled in the Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week in September, says she’s been looking forward to Mass Appeal. “I’m looking forward to meeting new people. One of my favorite things about being a model is making connections with stylists, designers, photographers and other models. Dressing up is fun, but my favorite part is actually walking down the runway. It’s like a performance.”
