Pointless map makes a point

It may not help you get from point A to point B, but the Impractical Cartography “map” is intended to document the experiences of our city.
Traditional maps plot important points—locations, specifically—on a determined space, but the creators of Impractical Cartography intend to collect personal experiences connected to areas in our city. In order to do that, they’ll need locals to submit their short stories, poems and prose to be included.
Here’s a more in-depth description from the project’s official website:
“Our map will be based around your short pieces about your experiences in the city. After all, even the smallest city ceases to exist without its people and their stories – good and bad. So let’s make something that goes beyond a simple marker of various locations and incorporate ourselves into those spaces.”
To have your story included in the project, which will be turned into a book printed for the 2013 Small Press Book Fair, submit your contribution here.
