A Teal Carpet Affair

blog by Kathryn Przybyla • September 25, 2012 @ 9:54am
Any event that can raise awareness for a good cause is a great night out.
The 3rd annual Teal Carpet Affair will be taking place from 7 to 11 p.m. this Saturday at Lux.
In honor of those who have overcome or might have lost their lives to ovarian cancer, this event will be a night of entertainment, one-of-a-kind auction, dinner and cocktails. Attendees will walk a unique teal carpet to enter the fundraiser and can mingle with local activists, survivors and supporters. Stories will be shared about different experiences with the disease that is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related death among women.
Tickets for the Teal Carpet Affair are $30 pre-sale and $40 at the door. For more information on tickets and pricing, head over to the Eventbrite page to reserve your spot. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.
