A whale of a time at the Aquarium of Niagara

Admit it: you want a whale mural. Don’t be ashamed. It’s the dream of every American.
You’ve caught yourself admiring that mural on the Aquarium of Niagara more than once. What’s not to like about famous marine life artist Wyland’s colossal painting? As much as you want to, you can’t bring the wall home with you, but you can have the next best thing.
Good luck, friend—the Aquarium of Niagara is raffling off an autographed limited edition lithograph of the famous Wyland painting that dominates their facility in Niagara Falls at the “Winds, Waves, & Wines XII” gala benefit on September 15. For only $50 per ticket, you can have a chance at winning the lithograph of “California Coastline,” a delightful piece of art valued at over $2,000.
The mural is number 81 of the 100 that Wyland painted on buildings around the world. Its main subject is a humpback whale and her calf, painted at life size, with a background of other whales and a California coast. The print is number 270 of 740, and with only 100 tickets, your chances to win are actually pretty good. You don’t even have to be there to win.
Live the dream! Tickets can be bought at the aquarium gift shop or charged by phone. For more information, call 285-3575, ext. 204.
