Asian pop videos are delightfully disturbing

blog by S.J. Velasquez  •

Over in Japan, pop songstress Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is farting out hot tunes (see 1:28 mark). Watch her first big single, “Pon Pon.”

And here’s what’s been dubbed South Korea’s song of the summer, with more than 9 million YouTube views since the video was posted two weeks ago. The singer, Hyuna, is definitely a hottie, but you should feel like a perv for thinking that because she was born in 1992—and it’s just plain wrong to have those kinds of feelings for anyone born in the ‘90s.

TAGGED: bubble pop, hyuna, japanese pop, music videos, pon, pop music, south korean pop
