Big Time Rush cascades on Darien Lake Thursday

blog by Ben Tsujimoto  •

Boy band Big Time Rush learned Monday that Nickelodeon had ordered a fourth season of its musical comedy show, so expect the four band members to be riding high at Friday’s Darien Lake performance.

Tickets for Thursday’s show start at $20 for lawn seats and can be purchased through Live Nation here. Cody Simpson is the lone opener listed on the Big Time Summer Tour.

According to this interview with Parade.com, band-mates Carlos Pena, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson are traveling with two very small dogs, a German Shepherd named Sydney, and Fox, an Alaskan Klee Kai. As if their fans needed another reason to find them more appealing.

Oh, you wanted another reason? There are some “extra” photos from PARADE Magazine’s shoot here. Buffalo.com’s Kat instructs on the band’s style here, too.

As far as the band’s stint with Nickelodeon is concerned, the quartet will begin filming Season 4 in early 2013 in Los Angeles. Shockingly, there doesn’t appear to be much drama between the members of Big Time Rush, as article after article discusses the brotherly relationships that the band members have formed.
