Blake Shelton set for a Erie County Fair appearance

America can’t get enough BS from Blake Shelton.

The Oklahoma musician has jumped from performer to living legend over the past couple years with his TV shows and new album, “Red River Blue.” While a namesake in the country music world for the last ten years, Shelton exploded onto the pop culture scene as one of the judges on “The Voice” on NBC.

Along with a high-profile marriage to another singer, Miranda Lambert, the two have become country music royalty.

His new found audience from “The Voice” has really provided great exposure for Shelton, opening up a new set of fans that may have never even heard of big hits like “Honey bee,” “God gave me you,” and “Drink on it.” After hosting the Academy of County Music Awards this weekend for the second year in a row, there is no doubt that Shelton will be sticking around for awhile.

Shelton will be performing at the Buffalo.com grandstand this summer at the Erie County Fair on August 16. Tickets for the general public go on sale this Thursday, while pre-sale for fan club members—appropriately named “BSers”—can purchase tickets Tuesday and Wednesday.
