Buffalo makes list of best cities for trick-or-treating

When it comes to Halloween candy, Buffalo kids can count on getting the very best sweets and snacks in their candy sacks.

According to the Zillow Trick-or-Treat Index, which ranks the top 20 cities for trick-or-treating, Buffalo is among the best places to collect candy on All Hallows’ Eve.

Coming in at No. 17, Buffalo scored its place on the list because of a few key factors considered by Zillow number-crunchers:

- Zillow Home Value Index
- population density
- Walk Score
- local crime data 

“Based on those variables, the Index represents cities that will provide the most candy, with the least walking and safety risks,” a Zillow blog post concludes.

    Zillow forgot to include the crucial measurements of “Percentage of homes that give out boxes of raisins” and “Willingness of homeowner to pretend you had not been to their house twice already.”
