Buffalo’s Neil Haskell is back to Broadway

The boy has some serious moves.
After capturing the Queen City’s heart in the third season of “So You Think You Can Dance,” Neil Haskell has sky rocketed his career and landed on Broadway. After two stints on Broadway for “The Times They Are A-Changing” and “9 to 5,” Haskell is currently on the national tour of “Bring It On: The Musical.”
Putting his dance and gymnastic skills to good use, the national tour will be making a limited engagement stop on Broadway this summer at the St. James Theater. According to Broadway World, beginning previews for the show will start on July 12, the show will open on August 1 and run through October 7.
According to their website, Bring It On: The Musical tells the story of the challenges and unexpected bonds formed through the thrill of extreme competition. With a colorful crew of characters, an exciting fresh sound and explosive dance with aerial stunts, this hilariously universal story is sure to be everything you hoped for and nothing like you expected.
Will you be making a trip to New York to catch this show? It looks like a great performance to check out in the city.
