Celebrate Buffalo’s strong women

Lotions & Potions, a quaint Elmwood boutique invites you to their “Strong Women” calendar launch party to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Twelve local women are represented in the calendar at different stages of going through cancer. The theme surrounding the entire project is fitting—“Strong Women: May we know them, may we raise them, may we be them.”
According to Lotions & Potions,
In the calendar, we showcase 12 amazing women, all currently living in the Buffalo area. Each month is a different women, and outlines their story, a quote they live by, and three words that make them strong. They are all photographed with chandeliers, as we wanted to represent “light” and letting your light shine.
The strong women calendar launch party will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the Mansion on Delaware Avenue. Tickets for the event are $75 with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.
