Chuckle for free with Ryan Hamilton at Helium Comedy Club - VIDEO

We’re not even done with the work week yet, and the news isn’t great.
On the day when La Nova Pizzeria was ranked No. 16 in New York State’s independent pizzerias via “Pizza Today,” the West Side staple was robbed at gunpoint. That’s infuriating, and thankfully no one was hurt.
Although a little lighter in nature, governor Andrew Cuomo exiled wild boars from New York State, which is pretty rough if you’re a wild boar (or a wild-boar aficionado.)
In light of all the negative news that hogs (not a boar joke) our timelines, we’re here to pass along something joyous from Helium Comedy Club, the entertainment venue that’s closing in on its one-year anniversary.
Comedian Ryan Hamilton heads to downtown Buffalo for 7:30 and 10 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday at Helium, 30 Mississippi St., Buffalo, and you’re welcomed to attend for free.
Head to this link, fill out the required information, respond to the confirmation email and claim tickets to see the Rolling Stone-approved comedian this weekend. You can even choose which of the four shows you’d like to attend!
The giveaway serves as a solid opportunity to check out downtown’s premier comedy venue—heck, Helium hosted Pablo Francisco earlier this month—and even indulge in the venue’s restaurant, Elements. We hear the Mediterranean Appetizer Platter is pretty delicious.
Hamilton is a bit of an atypical comedian in that his humor is clean—but that in no way impacts whether or not he succeeds in making you chortle. Here’s a short bit from the Vancouver’s Straight.com:
“His stories and delivery are so funny, it doesn’t even cross your mind that he works completely clean. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. When he talks about his experience skydiving or taking a hot-air-balloon ride, you’re too busy laughing to notice he’s not like the others.”
Enjoy the free show with a blossoming comedian—see Hamilton perform with Conan below—and give the local comedy venue a try.
