CONTEST: Win passes to advanced screening of ‘Beautiful Creatures’

Based on the first novel in the best-selling series by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, “Beautiful Creatures” is hitting theaters and you can see it before anyone else.

We’re giving away advanced screening passes to check out “Beautiful Creatures” and you could be one of our lucky winners. The movie itself premiers nationwide in theaters on Feb. 14., but thanks to Buffalo.com, you’ll be able to catch the film ahead of time.

The synopsis for the film is as follows:

A supernatural love story set in the South, “Beautiful Creatures” tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Alice Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town.

A fan of “Twilight,” “Harry Potter” or even “Vampire Diaries?” This is the movie for you.

For your chance to win, comment on this post below stating which side would you choose? Dark magic or Good magic? It’s always good to bring good into the world, but some people just can’t help but want to be a little bad.

We are giving away 20 pairs of movie passes to an advanced screening of the film at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the Walden Galleria Regal Cinemas.

From the comments, we will randomly select 20 winners to receive a pair of passes to the advanced screening. Winners will be announced on Monday morning (Feb. 4). All comments must be submitted by Feb. 3.

PLEASE NOTE: These are advanced passes and do not guarantee a seat for the screening. Seating for this film is first come, first serve so please plan on arriving early if you attend. The theatre is overbooked to ensure a full house.

Winners must be able to pick up their passes from the Buffalo News Office (One News Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14240) at the corner of Scott St. and Washington St. in downtown Buffalo before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Good luck everyone who enters!
