Contest: Winners from ‘Modern Family’ contest announced

UPDATE: Congrats to Michael R., Thomas Y. and Rachel G. who were randomly chosen as winners for our contest! Have a great time at the show.

You’ve seen them on Modern Family, and now they are coming to Buffalo.

As part of the UB True Blue Days, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet will take the stage at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the UB Center for the Arts. According to the CFA,

Come see the stars of the hit ABC show Modern Family, winner of 16 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series three years in a row. Lawyer Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and his free-spirit partner, Cameron (Eric Stonestreet - 2012 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series), parent their super-cute Vietnamese baby, Lily.

A big fan of the show? We are giving away three pairs of tickets to the event and this is what you need to do:

We will randomly select three winners to receive a pair of tickets to the show. The contest will run through 3 p.m. today, and winners must be able to pick up their tickets at the Buffalo News before 6 p.m. Friday.

Jay Pritchett (Ed O’Neill) is my favorite as he’s Bundy-esk - was a huge fan of Married with Children and it’s great to see him back in a role that he seems to be a natural for him.

The entire cast is incredible & the synergy what makes the show - but if I have to choose a favorite, it’s gotta be Cam.

To see him out of character makes you realize what a talented actor he is - and he’s got some hilarious one liners.

Cameron!!!!!!!!! He embodies so much of current society in different dimensions. He relatable to the unemployed young american culture that is hitting so many people today. We’ve seen him enjoy his time at home but at the same time he is needing more in life. He is also a loving example of a homosexual male, a category that some may have a had a hard time relating to in the past. Finally, I love how his character juxtaposes Mitchell’s so well.

My favorite character is easily Mitchell because I know so many people like him. Of all the characters on the show, I can’t find anyone that is more true to life, and that relates to my friends as much as him.

I absolutely love Phil and his “phil’s-osophy”. My boyfriend would probably choose Gloria (guess why). :) Every character is great but Phil definitely has my pick!
