Cruisin’ for a Boozin’

It’s Memorial Day Weekend. This means that you don’t have a care in the world until Tuesday morning, and there are 88 hours of leisure, partying, relaxing—anything you choose, really—until then.

Here’s one option to avoid having a solo weekend picnic: After Dark Entertainment presents the fifth Buffalo Booze Cruise at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night on the Miss Buffalo II. Boarding begins promptly at 6:30, and the cruise runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at a host of different places—including on-site before the boat loads on Saturday evening—and there’s a cash bar on the Miss Buffalo II to satisfy your liquid desires.

Dance music will be provided by Spooky Business, a local duo nominated for Artvoice’s “Best DJ crew” in the Best of Buffalo awards.

According to Spooky Business’ Facebook page, the DJs enjoy a good time. “We improvise the music and do our best to offer a solid experience where anybody can come and be themselves, wild out, and dance the night away. Naked.” Is that a challenge, Spooky Business?
