Dance Your Art Off

Put on your dance-pants, and bust moves for a cause at 9 p.m. Friday at Town Ballroom, 681 Main St., Buffalo. Dance Your Art Off, dubbed a “serious night of dance music and environment” by its creators, promises to be a night of continuous motion, a “crazy mix of flow, fabric and light.”
Accompanied by house and electronic beats, attendees will dance the night away and get an eyeful from a lineup of performance artists. The event’s dress code is simple: Wear your art.
Ticket sales benefit Give for Greatness, the campaign bringing attention and money to our local arts scene, which is in danger of losing funding. Attendance is $15 in advance (get tickets at Artvoice or Shoefly); $20 at the door. Tickets are also available at Tickets.com.
