Are you game?
They say that your sense of smell and taste can be incredibly enhanced when you lose sight. Frog Hair is looking to put this to the test with a series of “dine in the dark” nights taking place once a month through October.
According to Amherst Night Out,
The concept of dining in the dark originated in Europe and has since has debuted in restaurants around the world. From Asia to New York City and beyond, dining in the dark is the most exciting alternative to an ordinary night out.
Frog Hair is proud to bring this revolutionary sensation to WNY in a way that only Frog Hair can. We start with a pitch black dining room, add a five-course meal, entertainment, great service and a lot of Frog Hair flair, resulting in the a truly unique and memorable event.
Sounds kind of interesting right? There are two dinner options available to choose from prior to your “dining in the dark” experience. Menu A is for the more adventurous type, which features a secret menu to keep the diner guessing. Menu B is for someone looking for an exciting night out to dinner, but wants to know what kind of food is being put in front of them ahead of time. This menu includes fresh fruit, lobster mac & cheese, Caesar salad, petit filet & grilled salmon, potato & vegetable du jour and dessert.
Tonight is the second night of the “dine in the dark” series and be sure to call ahead if you are interested in attending. Tickets cost $50 per person with tax, beverages and gratuity not included. Here are the following dates that this unusual night out for dinner will be offered at Frog Hair:
