Excision to shake foundations of Town Ballroom tonight

With seemingly no let-up in the international dubstep craze, Town Ballroom and MNM Presents welcome Canadian DJ Excision for an 8 p.m. show tonight. Tickets are $25 general mission and can be snagged from Tickets.com.
Excision, the DJ name for Jeff Abel, is best known for his collaborations with elite dubstep DJ Datsik and KoRn, the once immensely popular metal band that’s fully embraced dubstep’s emergence. Touring in support of his first full album “X-Rated,” Abel is quite prepared for the road.
According to NashvilleScene.com, “Excision is traveling with a sound system specifically designed for dubstep, with custom 18-inch speakers that pump out 100,000 watts of sound.”
Think you can handle all that bass? Excision will be joined on the bill by Liquid Stranger and Lucky Date.
