Friday Favorites: Hippie Style

Your father may pretend he wasn’t part of the hippie era, but don’t let him fool you. When he’s rummaging through old clothes, and you catch a quick peek at that tie-dye T-shirt hiding in the back of the closet, you’ve unearthed his musty hippie skeletons. I don’t mean for that to sound so ominous.

This week, to celebrate Father’s Day, we’re giving away 25 pairs of tickets to the first Buffalo Place Rocks the Harbor show of 2011: Dark Star Orchestra (a Grateful Dead tribute band) and Soulive . Simply post a comment at the bottom of this blog answering this question:

“If you had to guess—or you may know—who is your father’s favorite band?”

Again, the first 25 people to respond win a pair of tickets to the show on June 24. Peace!

My dad’s favorite band depends on his level of intoxication, but it would probably either be the Allman Brothers, the Aqua Bats or Sphongle.
