The band’s most recent appearance in the Queen City was in July of 1992 at Rich Stadium, where they shared the stage alongside Metallica. This will be Guns N’ Roses first time playing in Buffalo in over 20 years.
Founder Axl Rose, started Guns N’ Roses over 25 years ago and since that time, they have become one of the biggest bands in music history, selling more than 100 million albums worldwide.
The band’s major-label debut, “Appetite For Destruction,” has sold over 28 million albums in the United States alone, marking it as the biggest selling debut album of all time. The ground-breaking album changed the course of music with such classic hits as “Welcome The Jungle,” “Paradise City,” and the chart-topping single, “Sweet Child of Mine,” according to a statement from BWR Public Relations.
Tickets for Guns N’ Roses will go on sale at noon on Friday (May 3) and can be purchased through Ticketmaster, Walmart Stores, Town Ballroom box office or After Dark office (630 Elmwood).
General admission tickets are $45 in advance and VIP tickets are $80. VIP tickets include a provate area with private bar and concessions, close view of the stage and private, temperature controlled bathrooms.
