Hotel Lafayette to host inaugural Witches Ball

blog by Kathryn Przybyla • October 05, 2012 @ 9:37am
It will be a frightfully good time.
The Hotel Lafayette will be hosting the inaugural Witches Ball in their newly renovated space, as their first public event. The celebrations will take place at 6 p.m. on Halloween night where guests and attendees will be treated to what is sure to be an evening of spooky fun.
A zombie walk from City Hall will kick off the night at 5 p.m. with 200 zombies leading the way to the party. Live music will be provided by DJ Cutler, the Ifs and Irving Klaws while other activities include a vampire kissing booth, scream contest, costume contest, tarot card readings and fortune tellers.
According to event organizers,
The Witches Ball is working with members of Terror Technologies and Frightworld: America’s Screampark in order to bring classic no-nonsense thrills and chills to the city. If you’ve been looking for a downtown Halloween night masquerade with fantastic mystery and mayhem, The Witches Ball is coming to downtown Buffalo, NY.
A number of Hotel Lafayette businesses will also be open throughout the night to take a look through. From my experience with this kind of event, I’m fairly certain that the first Witches Ball will inevitably sell out.
Tickets for the Witches Ball will be on sale for $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door. You can reserve your ticket now by heading over to the PayPal site. Partial proceeds from the event will benefit the Buffalo Arts Society. For more information on the Witches Ball, check out the Facebook event page for details.
