I See Stars to bring ‘Filthy February’ tour to Buffalo

It’s really, really cold outside, so we’re trying to give you nice, warm things to do indoors. On the day after the Super Bowl, you’re going to to want to pull on your nicest snow pants, bundle up in your most attractive anorak and guide your sled dogs to North Buffalo for a red-hot performance from Michigan electronicore kids I See Stars.
The latest offering from the Buffalo.com Presents… concert series, I See Stars currently headline the Filthy February tour, a jam-packed bill that will roll into town on Monday, Feb. 4 at Xtreme Wheels (356 Hertel Ave., Buffalo). In addition to I See Stars, other bands slated to visit the indoor skate park / concert hall as part of the tour include (inter)nationally touring acts like Minnesota metalcore favorites For All Those Sleeping, Utah rockers Get Scared, New Jersey post-hardcore enthusiasts Palisades, Italian (!) metal outfit Upon This Dawning and Buffalo boys The Bella Donna.
The show is produced by After Dark Entertainment.
Tickets for the 5 p.m. show are available now online.
“We are so stoked for this tour and feel this is an extremely impressive line-up offering a lot to the fans for a low price,” I See Stars vocalist Devin Oliver told antimusic.com in December. “We are going to break out one of our longest sets yet and there could even be a few surprises. We can’t wait to see you all in Feb and be sure to come party with us. It’s going to be a rager for sure.”
I See Stars defy categorization—the six-member band can grind through the brutal metalcore breakdown on workouts like “The Common Hours,” combine electonica and post-hardcore on an intelligent and catchy track like The End of the World Party,” and then sound buoyantly effervescent on their Punk Goes Pop, Vol. 4 cover of Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends.”
The band has performed on the Warped Tour, Bamboozle, the AP Tour and Jimmy Kimmel Live, among other high-profile appearances. I See Stars released their third full-length album, Digital Renegade, in March 2012. The album included guest vocals by Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria and Cassaddee Pope of Hey Monday. The band is currently working on a new record expected to be released later this year.
They’re also crazy fit after getting into shape with the Ultimate Warrior (language NSFW, and these kids are wearing jeans to work out, which is equally offensive):
Yeah, the Ultimate Warrior is insane.
