Break out your boots WNY, there’s a cowboy coming to town.

Joining local acts including the Eric Van Houten Band and 90 West, James Wesley will entertain country fans at Club Infinity later this month. Growing up in a small town in Kansas with about 200 people, Wesley has come a long way from his early days in the music business.

Signing with Broken Bow Records in 2009 might have been the best decision of Wesley’s career, leading to four singles that have done better than his other music attempts combined. “Real,” was written by Neal Coty (who also wrote for Blake Shelton) and Jimmy Melton and is his most popular and most successful song to date.

According to his bio, “James Wesley puts those core values into his music with a whiskey-smooth voice and a timelessly winning way with a great country song. Wesley sings directly to real people about real things that profoundly affect real lives—and from his small-town upbringing to his blue-collar work ethic, he has a deep understanding of what those folks are longing to hear.”

You can catch James Wesley with the Eric Van Houten Band and 90 West at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30 at Club Infinity. Tickets are on sale for $12 in advance and $15 the day of show and can be purchased through Ticket Web.
