It’s that time of year again.
Kissmas Bash 2013 will take place at 6 p.m. on December 12 at First Niagara Center this year, bringing a slew of teen-pop talent who have topped the radio charts.
Usually a mix of a few headliners and few up-and-coming ensembles, this year’s lineup is sure to impress with Jonas Brothers, Fifth Harmony, Icona Pop and Midnight Red coming to Buffalo.
Tickets to the show range from $15 to $80 and can be purchased through the First Niagara Center website here. For more information on other artists are updates to the show, listen to Kiss 98.5 or check out their website.
Here’s a taste of what to expect with the scheduled acts and also some bios on the bands provided by Kiss 98.5:
The Jonas Brothers broke on the scene with their single “S.O.S” in 2007, launching Kevin, Nick and Joe into superstardom. They have since starred in Disney Channel original movies and shows, along with the E! reality series Married to Jonas. Their songs have continued to climb up the charts, including hits “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” Paranoid,” “Burnin’ Up” and “First Time.”
Fifth Harmony emerged as a breakout group from the second season of The X Factor, being mentored and signed by Simon Cowell himself. Their first single “Miss Movin’ On” was performed live on The Today Show and has since taken radio by storm. The girls are set to release their debut EP, Better Together, on October 22nd.
Swedish duo Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo met at a party in 2009 and quickly bonded over their heartbreaks and love of music. Shortly after, the two began fusing classic pop melody with heavy dance floor beats that craft the sound of Icona Pop. Their breakout hit, “I Love It,” quickly blew up and became the inescapable anthem of 2013. Now, the girls’ latest single “All Night” (off debut international album This Is…) is sure to get everyone up and out of their seats.
Anthony Ladao, Eric Secharia, Joey Diggs, Thomas Augusto and Buffalo’s own Colton Rudloff make up the latest boy band takeover known as Midnight Red. Their latest single, “Take Me Home,” has been featured in a national Coca-Cola campaign and is currently climbing up the charts. The band’s debut album is set to hit stores by the end of 2013.
