It’s an almost infamous night of dancing, drinking and spinning at an otherwise unassuming Elmwood joint. Soul Night, a Sugar City event, returns tonight, and it promises to be a bender of an evening at the Elmwood Lounge.
The funk and soul jams begin at 10 p.m. tonight and ends “until they kick us out,” according to the Sugar City announcement. Johnny Drama, Handsome Dan and DJANGO will be spinning through the night.
A $5 donation will get you in the door, and it will also go toward “Keeping Sugar City sweet”—whatever that means. The Elmwood Lounge is located at 522 Elmwood Ave.
For fans of Sugar City, check out Clutter, the urban market that runs today from noon to 8 p.m.
