Grab a picnic blanket and some bug spray, and head outdoors to catch a free classic film with all your neighbors.

The Parkside Community Association’s Movies in the Meadow classic film series kicks off tonight with “Casablanca,” and the series runs weekly through August. See full schedule below:

Aug. 3: “Casablanca”

Aug. 10: “Rear Window”

Aug. 17: “It Happened One Night”

Aug. 24: “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”

Aug. 31: “Young Frankenstein”

The films are scheduled to start at dusk—about 8:30 p.m—in Delaware Park. In the event of rain, head over to Parkside Lodge to watch indoors.

Before the movie begins, enjoy live music hosted by the Tea Cup. Music begins at 5 and ends at 8 p.m. each Friday in August.
