Music with a message - VIDEO

blog by Kathryn Przybyla • September 20, 2012 @ 10:02am
This weekend, a different kind of music festival will be taking over downtown Buffalo.
Rock the Lakes is a community-wide outreach concert for youth and young families, featuring some of today’s most popular Christian artists. It’s music with a message—and it’s free.
The events will kick off at 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. You can also check out live performances from Skillet, Building 429, Flame, Lacey from Flyleaf, Tedashii, Michael W. Smith, Rend Collective Experiment, L’Angelus and Reilly. The Buffalo Bills own Jim Kelly will also be making an appearance on Sunday.
For more information on Rock the Lakes, head over to their website for updates and other events.
