National Garden Festival’s Front Yard Contest: Photos before and after

The labor-intensive part of the National Garden Festival’s Front Yard Contest on Crowley Avenue in Riverside has ended, and the voting period has started.

Small voting boxes are placed outside each of the 15 homes on Crowley Avenue’s westernmost block (where it intersects with Niagara Street at the foot of Riverside Park). The public can judge the home with the best landscaping and gardening work by placing a vote through July 21. In front of each home, there’s
