Nerd alert: Queen City Conquest conquers Buffalo

Pull out your board games and Yugioh cards, grown adults, and be surrounded by your kind.
The Queen City Conquest gaming conference runs from Friday to Sunday at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. Choose from retro games, role-playing games, card tournaments and tons of other gamer activities.
First-time convention-goers are welcome—nay, encouraged!—to attend. There’s even a page on the official convention website devoted to newbie attendees. It reads:
“If this is your first time to a convention, then you are in for a real treat. For people who enjoy gaming, a convention offers you the chance to spend a whole weekend playing games you enjoy, meeting other gamers who enjoy the same games as you, and trying out brand new games that you’ve always wanted to play but never had the chance.”
Entry to the event requires a badge, which is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Participation in the events will cost a little extra. Get the pricing specifics and purchase information here.
