It’s forgivable if you become confused when Buffalonians mention Canalside, the Inner Harbor, the waterfront, the Outer Harbor and the Buffalo and Erie County Naval Park, especially if you’ve never been there to survey the scene.

Simply put, the Outer Harbor is not the same as the Inner Harbor—the latter is the site of Buffalo Place’s Thursday at the Harbor series that’s boasted names like Young the Giant and Salt-N-Pepa so far this year. It’s the one with all the colorful Adirondack chairs and the new Liberty Hound bar.

The Girl Talk show, promoted by FunTime After Dark, Supernaut Productions and in association with MNM Presents, will be held at the old site of the Pier and Shooters along Fuhrmann Boulevard, a little farther south down the Skyway. See the map below for clarification on the location:

Tickets for Girl Talk are $36.75 after fees, and all tickets are general admission. If you want to reduce the service fees, purchase tickets at the Town Ballroom box office, 681 Main St., Buffalo between noon and 5 p.m., and the After Dark Entertainment office at 630 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

There’s limited on-site parking for $10, but there’s free parking along Fuhrmann Boulevard. There will be a private beer garden and food stands for refreshments—everything is cash only. Attendees can bring blankets but not chairs.
