A Hollywood movie based on the Buffalo Bills? This could be pretty awesome.

According to Deadline,

Paramount Pictures has acquired Draft Day, a comic script by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman that has Ivan Reitman attached to direct. Reitman will produce under his Montecito banner with Tom Pollock and Ali Bell. The script revolves around the general manager of the Buffalo Bills as he spends the day of the National Football League draft frantically trying to get the number one pick for his struggling team.

Ivan Reitman is a big name for Paramount to attach to this movie with film credits including “Ghostbusters,” “Hitchcock,” “No Strings Attached,” “I Love You, Man” among many others. The guy knows movies. Scott Rothman just sold his new script, “Frat Boy” to Warner Brothers and Rajiv Joseph is a Pulitzer finalist and currently writes for the Showtime series “Nurse Jackie.”

What are your thoughts on a possible Buffalo Bills inspired film? Will this be a good look for Buffalo and who do you think would be the perfect actor to play the team’s GM?
