Who doesn’t love pond hockey—the cool fresh air hitting you face as you work some serious flow down the ice on an outdoor rink. Century Grill is looking to make that happen in Buffalo more often with a fundraiser to turn Hoyt Lake into pond hockey heaven.  From 6 to 9 p.m. this Saturday at the Century Grill, hockey lovers can hang out and watch the Rangers vs. Sabres game on their big projection screen starting at 7 p.m.

There is a $10 cover charge that includes a snack buffet, raffles, $10 buckets of PBR and musical entertainment. This is an all ages event and all the proceeds raised will go to the Buffalo Pond Hockey Organization. Be sure to wear some sort of jersey too—prizes will be awarded for the “Best Looking Hockey Sweater.”
