Remembering MLK

While the nation recognizes the life of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Buffalo has a special celebration in store this weekend.

On Sunday, Concerned Citizens Following the Dream Committee invites community members to attend the annual event in honor of King and his legacy. This year’s theme is “Where Do We Go From Here?” The keynote Speaker will be Rev. Darius G. Pridgen, pastor of True Bethel Baptist Church.

The free event is open to the public, and it will include performances by local choirs, dance groups, musicians and more. For additional information, visit BuffaloPlace.
