Looking for a spin on making connections that doesn’t involve another boring happy hour?
Yoga, upcycling, reupholstery, photography, jewelry making, nutritional advice, hair and makeup, ethnic cuisine and more will all be featured in this unique “how-to” event sponsored by Communify: Buffalo.
“Join Communify: Buffalo for our first ‘Show How: A Night of How-To’ as we create an outlet for sharing knowledge and making connections. Throughout the evening, some of Buffalo’s talented small business owners, skilled tradesmen/women, and organizations will be sharing with you a basic repair, skill, or activity that you can do for yourself,” according to event organizers.
Featured vendors and businesses include Trebird, Healthy Homemakers, Mind Body Flow Yoga, PEAR / Planning, Christina Laing Art & Design, haus2home, Elizabeth Duggan hair and makeup and more.
Show How will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 24 at 464 Gallery on Amherst Street. Admission to the event is $10 at the door or $8 with canned good donations.
Presentations from local businesses will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and wine will also be served during the evening.
