So much dancing, so little time

A full slate of performances is scheduled this weekend as the University at Buffalo’s Zodiaque Dance Company hosts its annual event, “In Concert: The 38th Fall Season.”
The Zodiaque Dance Company is a long-standing tradition at UB, where the group is “renowned for the distinctive and diverse styles of its programs and continues to be an innovative force in university dance.” The company describes itself as a vehicle for artistic expression, offering faculty members, distinguished alumni and guests the chance to showcase their distinctive talents.
This year, distinguished guests include international dancer and choreographer, Keith Thompson and famous dance instructor, Hee Ra Yoo.
Sponsored by the Department of Theatre & Dance at UB, the concert is, in reality, a series of performances that will take place from Oct. 19 - 23 at the Center for the Arts on the university’s north campus. All performances will start at 7:30 p.m., except for Sunday’s show, which begins at 2 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $24 for the general public and $10 for students and seniors (students of any school must present a valid student ID, while senior citizens can leave their AARP card at home). Tickets are available at the Center for the Arts Box Office (Mon.-Fri. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.), or at Ticketmaster.com. You can also charge tickets by calling 1-800-745-3000.
