Son of the Sun, the Tins are Live at Larkin tonight

With summer coming to a close, we’re fitting in all the concert series shows we can manage.
Tonight, Live at Larkin presents Son of the Sun, The Tins and Poindexter from 5 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Square. The concert series is free to attend and offers a great array of food and drink specials, the perfect post-work happy hour—not to mention, outdoor grill and bar.
From last year’s inaugural season to now, event organizers have found a real winner on their hands as a great alternative concert option to Thursday at Canalside and other free summer shows. A different setting, a new spot and up-and-coming part of town has all the parts for a long term project.
The 14-week Live at Larkin season will include two final shows in addition to tonight’s performance. the Albrights, Ten Cent Howl and Peter Case, Leroy Townes will make up the lineups on Sept. 11 and 18 respectively.
