So you skipped your high school prom, you went with a total dud of a date, or you found true love after high school—whatever your reason for wanting a prom do-over, it’s your time to shine.

Now in its third year, Second Chance Prom is an excuse to get glammed up and dance the night away. Seeing as you’re of legal drinking age these days, you can get away with enjoying a few adult beverages without hiding a flask from your overly attentive—and terrifying—assistant principal.

The elegant evening starts 7 p.m. Saturday and goes until midnight at the newly renovated Statler City in downtown Buffalo. For one $35 ticket, you get hors d’oeuvre, a night of music and dancing, contests and bunch of discounts from participating vendors.  An abundance of legally spiked prom punch will be served, and there will be a cash bar.

“It’s a second chance at prom, and it represents a second chance for the Statler,” event organizer Keith Wilson said of the correlation between the event and the venue. “It’s the Statler’s second chance at being one of the premium spots in Buffalo.”

Tickets are still available for purchase online, or you can buy them at the door if you decide at the very last minute to do something romantic for Sweetest Day. Ahem. Hint, hint.
