On Friday, the University at Buffalo Center for Student Leadership and Community Engagement is hosting its annual Stay Up UB event to support the UB Cares Fund. This fund was created in order to send financial support to victims of natural disasters, tragedies and catastrophes locally, nationally and internationally when needed. This all night dance party comes complete with free food, prizes, dance contests and special dance performances put on by UB students and groups.

Students can pre-register for this event for a $7 pre-registration fee, which also entitles you to 20 UB Dollars to be used at the event during the prize auction. For those less keen on planning ahead, you can also register at the door for $10 and receive 5 UB Dollars for the auction. All students will accumulate a Stay Up UB T-shirt and glow stick in addition to their all-access wristband.

Make sure to stock up on Red Bull for this one, kids. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Alumni Arena Main Gym, with entertainment scheduled all night.  Any outside organizations looking to sponsor the event are encouraged to get in touch with Terri Budek at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Also check out the Facebook event page for more updates and information.
