Stroll with the undead

Add a little undead action to your Halloween festivities by strolling through the streets of Buffalo with zombies.
The Buffalo Zombie Walk commences on the steps of City Hall at 6 p.m. Oct. 31—that’s Halloween night. The free all-ages walk takes participants from City Hall to Hotel Lafayette, venue of the inaugural Witches Ball.
Makeup artists will be applying zombie makeup and blood from 4:30 to 5:30, while supplies last, according to the Buffalo Zombie Walk Facebook page. Makeup services are free, but tips are encouraged.
And even the undead are not permitted to be completely unruly, so some rules are in order for participants:
Do Not Street Walk
Do Not Break Traffic Laws
Do Not Run after humans
Do Not make a mess anywhere
Do Not Enter Buildings other than Hotel Lafayette
Stay in Character, Walk like a Zombie, Walk Slow
And while next week’s zombie walk is all for fun, if real zombies actually attacked Buffalo, we would be screwed.
