Summer might be (unofficially) coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean the great music has to stop.
The Sunwaves Music and Arts Festival in Warsaw is coming up and is packed with great WNY talent and entertainment for all ages—did I mention three days of camping and swimming too?
Taking place from 5 p.m. on Aug. 15 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 18, festival goers will camp out at North Fork Music Park in Warsaw (4952 Quarry Road) and enjoy the sights and sounds of 30 bands on four stages throughout the weekend.
Tickets to the Sunwaves Music and Arts Festival are $25 in advance (for all three days!) or $40 at the gate. Wooded camping, RV’s and swimming are all included in the ticket price at no extra charge, plus there will also be a huge flea market on Saturday.
Day passes for Saturday’s events and music will also be available for $20—although it is the only night to just attend for the day. You can get all the information on tickets through the Sunwaves website here.
The Alan Evans Trio will be headlining this year’s music in addition to the 30 bands set to perform during the festival. Other notable acts include Infinien, Slip Madigan, Rhubarb, Universe Shark,
Little Mountain Band, The Music of Pink Floyd, Jony James Band, Ween in the Woods, Blind Baby’s Holiday, The New Daze, White Woods, Folk Face, Monkey in a Bottle, Experimental Sandwich and many more.
Additionally, since this is a camping-themed music festival, there are a few unique rules for hanging out at the North Fork Music Park. No glass containers or pets are allowed and people who are 21+ will be required to wear wristbands and checked for identification. For a complete list of rules and regulations, check the Sunwaves website for all the things to know before you go.
