The Found to play final show at Mohawk Place

On Friday, The Found will be having a CD release show for their new album entitled “4.” This is a big one for these guys because it is an album 100% self-recorded, self-produced and self-mixed.
However, do not expect to hear more from them in the near future, because tomorrow will also be the band’s final show. Drummer and founder, Ben Hayes, has decided to peace out of Buffalo and try his hand at the music scene in good ole Nashville, TN. Since Hayes is also the drummer for White Bison, it will be their last show as well.
But don’t be quick to write off White Bison just yet, as you may see something from the remaining members. As for The Found, bassist Tommy Stanford put it simply.
We have nothing in the works beyond this, outside of the possibility of continuing to write collectively as The Found, but recording from afar—seeing as we pulled off the self-recording this time around.
The Found is not just a bunch of amateur kids cranking beats in their parents’ garage. Well, maybe that is how they started out many moons ago, but you would not think that now. They have staked their claim in Buffalo’s rock scene and have become regulars at the Mohawk Place and Nietzsche’s.
Over the last few weeks the band has been playing a series of farewell shows. If you have yet to catch one of those you have one last shot at 9:00 p.m. on Friday at Mohawk Place. They plan on making it a grand send off so don’t count on seeing any tears coming from the stage.
