The Trews to perform at Artpark

blog by Avery Hartmans  •

Canadian rockers The Trews will perform at Artpark on July 6 at 6:30 p.m. The Nova Scotia-based band has been nominated for multiple awards, has played close to 800 shows, and has opened for acts such as the Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Guns N’ Roses, Nickelback and KISS. These guys are good, and they have the evidence to prove it.

The band formed in 1995 when brothers Colin and John McDonald joined forces and eventually recorded their first full-length album, “House of Ill Fame”, in 2003. Since then, the band has gone on to become one of the most popular rock bands in Canada, consistently releasing music that has landed in the Canadian Top-10.

The show is free, so make the short trip out to Lewiston to see the band that’s already taken our northern neighbors by storm. For more information on The Trews, visit thetrewsmusic.com.
