Timber Timbre and their ragged blues

Timber Timbre

blog by Kathryn Przybyla  •

Being so close to the border, many Canadian acts find their way to Buffalo and bring with them an eclectic group of musicians that has made a fairly deep impression on our city. Tonight is no exception. Timber Timbre, a folk and blues project, will be at the Town Ballroom at 7 p.m. tonight. The group, comprised of Taylor Kirk, Simon Trottier and Mika Posen released their fourth album “Creep On Creepin’ On” this past June.

The band gives off a very spooky and cinematic vibe when it comes to their ragged blues sound. AMC’s Breaking Bad even featured their song “Magic Arrow” on one of their episodes. If you are looking for a new group to check out, definitly stop by the Town Ballroom tonight for an interesting gig. Tickets are $20 for this limited capacity and seated show.

Check out their music video for “Woman” here.
