Unyts Bucket List Bash inspires Buffalo.com list

blog by S.J. Velasquez • March 22, 2013 @ 9:52am
Celebrate life and all the endless possibilities ahead at Unyts’ second annual Bucket List Bash, happening April 12 at Statler City.
Buffalo.com is officially sponsoring the event, organized by Unyts, one of the leading organ, tissue and blood donation organizations in America.
The Bucket List Bash, which includes an open-bar happy hour, is for adults 21 and older. Aside from offering some enjoyable alcoholic beverages, the event will feature tons of fun activities that will help attendees knock a few items of their bucket lists. Go bungee jumping, walk the red carpet like a celeb, get a (temporary!) tattoo, learn to belly dance, save a life and travel the world—all inside Statler City, believe it or not.
Tickets for the event, which runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., cost $25 and include drinks, food, music, activities and entertainment.
Inspired by the Unyts event and the video above, the Buffalo.com team got to talking about our own life goals. Here are some of our bucket list items:
Ben Tsujimoto, digitial content coordinator:
“My bucket list item is weird, but it’d be to walk across the hallowed grounds of Old Trafford in Manchester, England before an early fall match between United and Chelsea.”
Kat Przybyla, social content coordinator:
“Coming from a family of tennis players, my bucket list includes a trip to all the Grand Slam tournaments. The most prestigious tennis events of the year, the Australian Open, French Open, US Open and Wimbledon are all on my list to check out at some point.”
S.J. Velasquez (oh, hey, that’s me), multimedia content coordinator:
It’s been my life goal to meet all five members of *Nsync, the boy band that ruled my heart in the ‘90s and early 2000s. Laugh all you want, but it’s been a goal I’ve been working on since high school. So far, I’ve met Joey Fatone and Lance Bass. I’m currently working on J.C. Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake—that last one is going to be tough.
