Honestly, I can’t get enough of Don Vidler and his Vidler’s TV specials produced by the five and dime store in East Aurora. Showcasing all sorts of unique an interesting products, Vidler’s has me longing to make the trip out to the shop with the big red and white awning.

Where else in Buffalo would you be able to purchase bacon-flavored toothpaste? Seriously. This place has everything.

According to their Youtube channel, “Vidler’s TV is a weekly product review show filmed on location at the historic Vidler’s 5 & 10 in East Aurora, New York. Vidler’s is one of the last surviving “five and dime” stores in America and the largest in the world! With two levels occupying four connected 19th century buildings, you’ll find everything from nostalgic candy, novelty toys and kitchen gadgets to the newest items for the recreational shopper with distinctive rooms featuring crafts, fabrics, jewelry, candles and seasonal décor.”

Check out the videos below, featuring some interesting items currently in stock.
