Vintage Buffalo posters

Pan Am ladies

blog by S.J. Velasquez  •

Buffalo wasn’t always this way—shuttered storefronts, frumpy sports wear and gloomy Main Street.

To see images of Buffalo’s past shows exactly what we could experience in the future. The streets of the Queen City were once bustling, and the locals wore their finest attire when walking leisurely through the streets, dotted with thriving businesses.

Right now on Mental_floss (via Buzzfeed—a favorite site of mine, which identifies what’s going viral on the web), one particularly popular post includes images of vintage travel posters from around the world. This inspired me to search for old Buffalo images, vintage postcards and old-school event posters. Check them out below, and click them for additional information from their sources. Some of these images are for sale in print, FYI.
