WNY’s Stacy Clark gets some MTV airtime - VIDEO

blog by S.J. Velasquez  •

Grand Island gal Stacy Clark is racking up awards and accolades left and right lately, and she just announced that her new music video for “Signs” is now featured on MTV and MTV.com.

It’s not often that MTV plays music videos, so this is a pretty big deal, you guys.

Clark wrote on her official Facebook fan page:

“Tonight I am very thankful and happy for my music video ‘Signs’ to be up on #MTV & MTV.com There is so much that goes into the creation of this from pouring my heart out into the song lyrically when writing the song, to co-producing with my amazing engineer/producer Matt Appleton to shooting the video with Ivan Ives & Michael Norquest in #LosAngeles. Lots of long drives sitting in traffic from Orange County to LA and late nights make it all worth it. A special thank you to the music set designers, production team, mtvU, Gibson Guitar, my amazing talented glam squad: Ramon Fuertes, Lynn Simpson, Piper DeYoung and Tara Tombrello. THANK YOU to everyone who enjoys and supports my music. As an independent artist it is through your support which allows me to do what I love, fund albums and create music videos. Thank you, it truly means everything to me.”

Clark, who’s living in California these days, returns to the Buffalo area next month. On July 6, she’ll open for Eddie Money at the Molson Canal Concert Series in Lockport; and on July 11, she’ll perform with Son of the Sun at the new Larkin concert series.
