One of the most popular concert series in Buffalo, WYRK’s Taste of Country is always a local favorite among music lovers.
Tending to sell-out almost every show, this year’s Winter Acoustic Show will feature a great line-up including heavy-hitter Jerrod Niemann, Love and Theft and newcomer, Joanna Smith. No stranger to the WYRK shows, Niemann has ventured to Buffalo a few times in the past including 2011’s Fall Acoustic show. He is a great performer, especially live, but it is interesting to see him back so soon after his last appearance.
Love and Theft, a duo made up of Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson will be back in the area as well. Most recently, the two played the official Brad Paisley after-party at Braun’s Concert Cove, following the big show at Darien Lake this summer. Both down-to-earth guys, the duo was spotted hanging out with fans after their performance, taking pictures and signing autographs.
Joanna Smith, a country music newcomer has actually been in the business for awhile, but is currently starting to make a real name for herself. Fun songs like “Gettin’ Married” and “Georgia Mud” got average play at radio stations around the country, but her latest single, “We Can’t Be Friends” is getting big.
You can catch Jerrod Niemann, Love and Theft and Joanna Smith at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 28 at Shea’s Performing Arts Center. Tickets range from $25 to $60 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. For more information on the show, head over to WYRK’s website for details.
