Central Terminal Restoration Corp hosts 9th annual Buffalo Oktoberfest

by Don Nieman  •

The Central Terminal Restoration Corporation hosted the 9th annual Buffalo Oktoberfest and turned the old passenger terminal into an authentic German beer garden. Men in their lederhosen and women in their drindl danced to the sounds of Bavarian music played by Buffalo’s German show band, The Frankfurters and the 20-piece German American Musicians Orchestra. There was drinking from glass boots, tipping of trachten hats, tasting of the authentic German fare and much hoisting of mugs to the traditional German Prost toast. Um pa pa it was fun for all.
