A -18 windchill did not deter the rock ‘n’ roll hungry crowd in downtown Buffalo seeking to hear Dr. Dog play at Town Ballroom on Monday.
The Philadelphia rock group whose noticeable influences come from the beloved Beatles, Beach Boys, and the Band among others were received with a completely packed house ready to jam with them through the night.
This stop in Buffalo was part of a tour to support “B Room,” the group’s seventh full length album which was release back in October of 2013.
While this was the most recent stop in town for Dr. Dog the not-so-subtle sign planted on the stage which stated “RIP MOHAWK” was a reminder that the group has toured through Buffalo before and reciprocates the Buffalove they receive here.
Also, local group Bearhunter opened up the night with an energy-packed set that was well received by the large crowd on hand.
