Ra Ra Riot at Mohawk Place - PHOTOS

In the weeks leading up to Mohawk Place's closing the indie rock scene in Buffalo is thriving and enjoying every last moment it can. The house was packed Wednesday night for the headlining indie rock band Ra Ra Riot and their opening act Guards. Several shout outs to the venue were made by the two bands and the crowd cheered for their beloved downtown music venue. Both bands were stellar. Guards gave it everything they had and really got the crowd responding.
By the time Ra Ra Riot was to come out you couldn't shimmy or shake yourself to the front of the crowd. Fans of the band were delighted to see their favorite Brooklyn based group give them all what they wanted. Ra Ra Riot was the first act in the Buffalo.com Presents... concert series we've put together in conjunction with our friends from After Dark Entertainment so check back for more.
